Certified Applied Functional Science (CAFS) allows the physical therapist to develop an individualized treatment plan that is customized to the patient, evaluating and isolating global and local dysfunctional movements and addressing them with corrective exercises. The CAFS approach considers the entire body when assessing and treating an impairment to help improve the mobility and stability of the individual. The therapist will curtail treatment to address specific motor impairments that were limiting participation with recreational and daily activities so that the patient can return to their normal lifestyle.
In summary, CAFS uses whole-body movements specifically designed to meet your needs to get you feeling better, moving better and living better.
